It must be the hydrogen from the hydrocarbon fuel combining with oxygen that is causing the oceans to rise. The point is that all the oil ever consumed would be very thin compared to atmosphere above it. Maybe as thick as 6 to 8 sheets of paper.
Why do the ice caps on Mars melt? Did those electric rovers do that?
