The ultimate irony here is that the pathetic complaint by the Canadian Islamic Congress, coupled with a worryingly accomodating HR tribunal, is infinitely more likely to expose muslims to hatred or contempt in Canada than anything Mark Steyn or Macleans could ever write.
The liberal mainstream reaction to the case is nauseatingly short-sighted as they have clearly taken the view that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” – they will be happy to see Mark Steyn and Macleans punished and their cries of outrage will only kick in when one of their own is silenced in the same manner.
The whole thing was a farce from start to finish and the only loser in all this will be Canadas reputation to the outside world.
