As a person uncommitted to a political party. The talking points the author makes have little substance. He states A majority of economists agree. Then some don’t. He argues 26 million new jobs. Don’t give me some data. How many jobs were lost? How has it affected economic growth?
As far as healthcare is concerned we need reform. This system only works if you don’t get sick. Sorry to the doctors, drug companies, and insurance companies who benefit and their trickle downs. If it’s broke fix it.
What is wrong with restoring the original and legal method of taxation. Based on the Constitution and Supreme Court. We are supposed to be taxed on our profits (capital gains) not our labor(income). When you pull off a Band-Aid it hurts at first.
Our foreign policy is not working. We must force Iraq to step up. It’s obvious pandering when you argue pullout time. That will be done as safe as possible no matter the administration. The fact is we need to be out of Iraq “surge” or not. It’s a unjust war that is costing lives and trillions. There is nothing wrong with diplomacy. And if Iran does not come around we have the technology to take out their facilities.
Time for progressive politics.
