The real question is why would supporters of Clinton want to support McCain, this just goes beyond political alliances and is more of a popularity contest. What goes through peoples mind’s when they want a president just like the one who will precede him. I mean is the economy not in shambles or Bush just expresses optimistic woes to stop people from complaining.
