I have to disagree. In my experience, almost ALL of the French Jews making aliyah have told me the main reason for making aliyah was that there was no future for them in France because of ”Eurabia” – also, very few were particularly religious. In addition, none of the French that I know were given appartments, on the contrary, they actually buy appartments that are very expensive by Israeli standards. I do agree that many do not succeed here, it’s difficult to find a good job, difficult to succeed in starting a business, many have difficulty learning Hebrew.
