Actually, there’s a lot of immigration to Israel from France, half of the appartments in my building are owned by French Jews not as yet ready to live here full time. They are not retired either. And, many buildings in my neighborhood are the same. I have a friend who is a teacher at the Ulpan (intensive Hebrew for immigrants) & I am teaching her French so she can better teach the increasing numbers of French Jews making aliyah.
