“Is healthcare important?” Yes. Too important to put in the hands of government.
“Is it important to start withdrawing our troops from Iraq?” Yes. As soon as the situation is stable enough that we can leave.
“How many of you want war with Iran?” No. I want Iran’s nuclear capacity neutralized. And if diplomacy is not sufficient for the task, then we must destroy it before the mullahs declare Armageddon.
“How many of you want our diplomacy to continue with . . . no diplomacy only threats?” We engaged Saddam’s regime with diplomatic efforts for better than a decade. He cheated at every opportunity. A muscular military makes diplomacy more credible, not less.
“How many of you want a rational tax policy?” I’ll settle for fiscal responsibility.
