Hillary’s supporters steadfastly refuse to acknowledge that she had any shortcomings, maybe something they picked up from their candidate. And yet Obama supporters are supposed to be the kool-aid drinkers. If you believe your candidate is flawless, then of course you will be filled with righteous indignation and look around for conspiracies to blame. Obama has said he was only human, that he has his faults. Many of his supporters get carried away and overlook his faults, but you can’t blame the candidate for that. The difference is that the Clintons have created a culture which depends on them being blameless victims of the vast right-wing (make that left-wing)conspiracy. I would respect Hillary a lot more if she could say that the Iraq vote was a mistake, the vote for Kyl-Lieberman was a mistake, and her support of the flag-burning bill was merely an attempt to position herself for her presidential run.
