Slander, by definition, requires that the statement be false. And there is nothing false in that short summary of one particular candidate, whom you have identified as John McCain.
But taking your non-denial denial regarding his earlier infidelities (which even McCain does not deny, but has admitted), let us set those aside and simply focus on the last one, which you mention. Let us grant your statement that McCain had separated from first wife Carol (it would be erroneous to say that “they” had separated – he left her, she never left him). Well, separated does not equal divorced. Separated equals MARRIED. And when he pursued and started up with wife number two, he was STILL MARRIED to wife number one. It was only ONE MONTH after he filed for and obtained a divorce that he married wife number two.
The fact remains — McCain dumped his loyal first wife — a wife who remained loyal during his captivity and even remains loyal today — he tossed aside his former model first wife after she became disabled in a terrible auto accident, all in order to marry a much, much younger, richer, and prettier second wife. That is not slander. That is truth.
