The “dark ages” came to western Europe not because of ‘the collapse of the Roman empire’, as is often thought. The empire continued on just fine in the east. It was the west that lost it all. The dark ages came because Muslim conquerors divide eastern Rome from western Rome, destroying much of western culture in its effort to stamp out ‘non-islamic knowledge’.

Imams are on record as saying “if it is in accordance with Quran it is redundant, and if not it is blasphemous” as part of their edicts to destroy western knowledge.

Muslims are also responsible for the broken-down look of the great Pyramids of Giza. People think the passage of time did it, but around the 13th century there was an edict to destroy them as symbols of ancient non-islamic barbarian culture. They chipped away on the external smooth stone coatings, but after a few decades they lost interest. The pyramids were too big and well built. But the casing stones are gone not because of local re-use or weathering, but because of Islamic decreed destruction.

Ironic and so sad for Bruce that he left America for Norway in search of an enlightened culture in which he could live freely as a gay man. The place to which he fled is now to be fled itself, because its culture has been overrun with the kind of repression that makes American good ole’ boys look like Aristotle and Plato by comparison.
