Well, I don’t remember any sub-sea Tests in the Pacific, but, I’ll take your word for it.

Arghh! I hate getting old, I’m sitting here trying to remember the name of the WWII Pilot that dropped the Bomb on one of the Atolls following the War…also developed the techniques used by Night Fighters in the Italian Theater (first Night Fighter Ace, P38 Lightning), and, the UN Chief Pilot taken captive by Patrice Lumumba in the Congo (delivering Food and Aid Supplies). I worked with him in Saudi Arabia in 1979/80, our Safety Man, and, he introduced me to another WW II Ace, the day after we met (also working in Saudi). Arghhh…I’ll think of it in a couple of…ah, Charley Bartel.

He told me a lot of things about the A-Bomb tests, but, never mentioned underwater tests. It’s not something I’ve studied.

Mentally, I was comparing them to ancient Meteorite strikes in the Ocean, worldwide.
