What is the point of publishing this article? It gives us no context for the dispute: no background information about the Quranic Society, no explanation of why the locals opposed the school, nothing at all.
Is the author trying to suggest that racism was the only motive for the opposition to the school? Surely most of the school’s opponents would deny that — but why were none of them quoted or interviewed? And why was no one from the Quranic Society interviewed either?
