I almost think the MSM was more taken by the trophy wife than many dems. The latter at least had to think of their constituencies and were acquainted with the seamier sides of politics. In contrast, the press rarely sees a pretty face or bit of cleavage without thinking ratings and page one. They are addicted to the hottest new thing on the block.
