As you point out, there is no surprise here. Like NOW, the NAACP and labor unions, the mainstream media has becomne nothing more than an arm of the Democrat party. While I believe that you are correct about their unrequited love, I don’t think that their criticism is the beginning of any trend. Considering the extent of Obama’s failure in so many arenas and the criticism from the MSM is still relatively mild (how many times have we seen someone mention “If the Bush Administration had . . . .”). I believe that the MSM have so much invested in the Obama charade that they will revert to true reverential form at the slightest positive provocation.
