I’m not so sure. Not that the world (especially Europe) isn’t anti-semitic, it is. But I think we are looking at appeasement, plain and simple. It’s an old story, when the bully dominates the playground, potential victims always side with the bully against his current target. They’re hoping they won’t be next. Of course, it always helps to mask your cowardice with self-righteousness. It just looks better.
