I saw Leno back in his standup days before taking over the Tonight Show and he was good. As far as I’m concerned, the Tonight Show should have ended when Johnny retired. I now find Leno so predictable that you can pretty much give the punchline before he says it. On the other hand, I like Conan, but you need a certain sense of humor to get him. That being said, they shouldn’t give the “Tonight Show” to anyone. Close it down like they should have after Carson retired.
