As a gay man myself (Norwegian), I am horrified at this betrayal of the only country in the Middle East where it is possible to have one’s sexual life be an actual private citizen affair.
In a country that criminalizes gays, or places legal disabilities on us, our sexual life is no longer what it ought to be, namely..a private citizen affair.

For the record, I don’t think it is right, either, as it is in Norway, that it is criminal for an employer to refuse to hire a man like me solely on account of my orientation.

He has a right to be a bigot, and refuse me a job on such silly grounds, but he hasn’t got any “right” to have any customers, so if I, through non-violent, legal means can push him out of business, I would do so.
