I have, in my archives, a study entitled “Myths About Gun Control” by Morgan O. Reynolds and W. W. Caruth III for the National Center for Policy Analysis. On page 10, it tells of a New York-based antigun group in the 1960s that printed signs for its members to post on their homes stating “THERE ARE NO GUNS IN THIS HOUSE.”
I don’t have to tell you what the outcome of that was. I do recommend that you look up and read the report, as it packs a lot of information on gun control into a very concise package.
