Monckton: At Last, the Climate Extremists Try to Debate Us! (PJM Exclusive)
I graduated in physics and went down the path to save the planet from the dreaded “greenhouse effect” in graduate school. I left mid-flight due to the amount of political angling rather than scientific approach. As a person educated in physics, we are taught that the laws of science are conservative and cannot be broken. When you are watching a professor setup a problem and neglect one of the laws, say the second law of Thermodynamics, because in not doing so, the “desired” answer cannot be arrived at, you notice that there is a problem. This is why I left and went into the real world.
These people purposely neglect specific portions of physics necessary to determine the outcome. That is why none of the “models” ever work against real data, and why many of the groups modify the real data to “fit” the “models”.
Rutherford said it right, “if your experiment needs statistics, then perhaps you ought to have done a better experiment”.
