Since the Press Complaints Commission (more of those Kommissars) recently refused to uphold the standards of decency to which Monckton usually so unstintingly adheres, one imagines the gloves have come off. It’s a pity to see him having to confront such diminution in journalistic standards, but which he still does so eloquently.
