I suspect that the simplest answer lies in ‘displaying’ to Islam that the West is always the indisputable strong horse, despite our currently warped appearance. Bomb/Invade the Iranians out of both the Mullah and the Atomic business – just like was done in Iraq. Decimation will succeed where, in this case, Persuasion has already been tried: and failed.
Israel can launch the massive pre-emptive strike and the US will follow on her heels. Tiny Israel will connect a jaw-breaking punch upon our enemies that will show, by comparison, that the Irresistible Force in world affairs is the giant United States of America. Don’t worry about Obama: he is a puppet of the grander Scheme (as in GOD) of things.
