Declare the Kurdish portions of Iraq to be South Kurdistan, and form an immediate military alliance with the new country. This will leave Iran and Turkey to wonder just where North Kurdistan is located, and why South Kurdistan needs some many M-1 tanks. Then suggest to the Russians that they’ve only been after Constantinople for a century or two, and maybe something can be worked out.
