Well, the comments, self-selected as they may be, have been uniformly enlightening. I’m 20, very conservative, and very Lutheran. I still can’t imagine the person that would find Leno amusing or O’Brien annoying (a symptom of too much listening to and writing comedy?). My liberal, Ivy League friends (read: Leno’s bane) think that Leno fans are mythical. You’ve given both parties reason to doubt O’Brien-as-Carson’s-heir.
