Rough Seas for Israel After Gaza Flotilla Intercepted (Updated through the day)
You are very hard on him — I myself have been at times. But I wouldn’t like to be in his shoes — standing on the edge of an abyss, having to make decisions not knowing where they will lead — or rather that no matter what decision he makes about anything, Israel will face condemnation. Better that though than defeat and destruction.
Yes, he should take a strong stand — Israel will be condemned anyway — but it’s unknown what the treacherous will do so it’s wise to keep eyes in the back of one’s head, and a machete in the hand.
Look at what happened here. Violent suicide stalkers attacked soldiers who were not attacking them, and the soldiers defended themselves. There is no one who believes these were “humanitarian aid” workers or “peaceniks.” No one. But it doesn’t matter. Only Israel would be faulted as criminal for defending themselves in that situation — ambushed. Perhaps Israel slipped in judgment by boarding instead of something (what?) else — easy to say in hindsight — but slips are common in war and warlike situations. There isn’t any way at all to avoid slips — slight errors in judgment — often more than slight. There is no doubt — not to anyone — who ought to be condemned. But they don’t care.
It’s good and necessary that Israel clarify its actions and what occurred — to those who already support Israel and those that are open minded. For the rest, the devils whose numbers are legion, it doesn’t matter what Israel says — it will be talking to the wind. They are determined to satisfy their blood lust —
Islamists are who they are and nothing decent can be expected from them. I vehemently condemn the Europeans. They have reverted to their worst nature, and it will come back to them in spades.
(I include Obama in with the Europeans — he does not represent the feelings or behavior of the American people — and just hope that he can be defeated before karma overtakes the rest of us.)
