I agree with you completely. There is no reason that BP should be drilling in 5000ft of water especially since we now realize that they obviously have no idea how to stop a leak at that depth! As for the environmentalists in Beverly Hills I believe that they actually want this spill to be a disaster. They see the spill as proof that we should not be drilling for oil at all.
