Like cheap food it has made us fat and slovenly, it is healthy for the rich to be humbled. The sad part of a ‘world economy’ is that the poorest are hurt so much more. In the end we will all be much stronger and better after the lesson we are about to learn. It is all linked to excessive consumption. Hopefully the next president will make the right decisions, to increase supply and demand energy efficiency.
