This President started on a good note with regard to our dueling vietnams. Facing failure no matter what he did..if he withdraws hes a cut and runner..if he escalates hes a warmonger…he decides to downplay and try to mop up Iraq and escalates in Afghanistan. However, then he starts to play the “silent treatment” as his already overflowing domestic issue(s) pot starts to over boil.
Americans on the left and the right (not as much), are understandably confused. It began with a perceived sellout on health care with the drop kick on government option single payer. Now there appears to be a roaring silence on success, or lack thereof, with regard to Afghanistan. And why are there no announcements on Iraq….and or plan “C” on Iraq and Afghanistan going forward? If this President continues to dither on these issues once the finance bills is signed……there can only be severe kik up the ….in November by “new majority” if he does not wipe the mascara off his face and make some decisions, soon. Get to work. We did not hire this president to think, but rather, to act. Wake up Mr. President.
