Two Years After Strict Immigration Reform, Oklahoma Is More Than OK

The people in California have it rough. In the thirties there was an influx of poor people from Oklahoma who wanted jobs in agriculture. Today it’s Mexicans. It works well for employers in the ag business, but no one figured these people would want real jobs that pay a living wage. I imagine that the Oklahomans who came to Calif. in the dust bowl knew what it was like not to be wanted. They are probably hiring the Mexicans today.
