Two Years After Strict Immigration Reform, Oklahoma Is More Than OK
For all of you who are praising Ok and Az for their stand on illegal aliens, I would offer a suggestion on how you can do your part whether you live in Ok (like I do) or Az. or not. Try insisting that the roofer you are about to hire to put a new roof on your house use only “legals” and that to do otherwise will breech your contract. Give the job of your lawn mowing to the kid down the street and not a lawn service with loose hiring practices. Make a point of eating at resturants that have local high school kids working to bus the tables or washing the dishes instead of “illegals”. Make a point of making sure business owners and managers know that the reason you took your business elsewhere was their disregard for the immigration laws of this Republic.
