Exactly. Just as Oktoberfest and St. Patricks are both drinking and eating fests, Cinco de Mayo is another commercial affair-helps business and it’s a welcome bit of fun.
These events are meant to be all-inclusive(respect really has nada to do with it)and fun is mostly the objective.
Unfortunately, the Hispanic kids at this school have been given poor instruction and entirely missed the spirit in which these sort of holidays are celebrated.
Too bad, they probably soured their own community for the short-term at least.
Both the Principal and Vice-Principal should seek employment in another field-they are rather bad at their jobs and set a terrible example.
