#48…Had one of those. Stay at home mom who willingly and gladly gave up career and business to raise my family and be a helpmate. I wouldn’t trade my children for the world and fought hard for my marriage against the world and lost. The real losers are my children who lost their stability, home and had their little worlds shattered. They had their hearts broken by the man God gave them as protector, provider and hero. By the grace of God I am not bitter or angry and want to model a biblical woman to my girls. It is hard but I am looking forward to the eternal rewards not the nonsense everyone whines about. Women and men are equal but we are created for different purposes. If you have children, you should stay home and raise them, nurture them and teach them what is important. Daycare isn’t a place to raise children and while it isn’t black and white for everyone, I would say that the majority of the women who “have” to work do so for things and lifestyles that they are too tired to enjoy and in the end mean nothing. None of that is worth missing my children grow up every long day, sleepless night and heartbreaking trial.
