Actually, most electric devices will not run at lower power availability.
If you were to drop the voltage or current of, say an air conditioner, it would run
at such a poor power factor that the device would most likely fail.
Not only failing to cool your house, but also cost the owner money to
repair or replace the device.
this is true for almost all the devices in your house that run on
electric.
So what we are really talking about is total power cut.
You will just have to learn to do without.
BUT it is for the good of “The People”.
One must sacrifice so all can exist.
