Intead of “smart meters” that allow some faceless bureaucrat to control our electricity usage, why don’t we restructure the Department of Energy to fast-track the construction of new nuclear power plants and oil refineries, start drilling for our own oil and drastically reduce the cost of energy?
With the refutation of the “global warming” theory, there is no longer any reason to restrict our energy supplies.
The DOE should either promote energy production or be eliminated. We should not pay tax money for an agency that keeps us from developing our own energy sources.
