Jim, it only appears “thuggish” because Progressives are not used to being challenged in public discourse … and that is because, in the past, we have been civil.
Too civil, given the intellectual dishonesty of the Progressive movement.
Civility in the face of intellectual dishonesty is counterproductive to the defense of liberty, for it grants the dishonesty the false appearance of legitimacy.
Or, in simpler terms …
WE’LL STOP THE YELLIN’ … WHEN OUR LEADERS STOP THE LYIN’!
