Limbaugh is actually not effective.
As I reported early on, he failed in derailing McCain in the Republican primaries.
He has no influence with independents, the voters who will actually decide the general election between McCain and Obama.
The rest is just a sideshow in which Limbaugh’s declining audience continues to pour bucks into his pocket in the latter days of the conservative era.
