Being openly mocked is not something leftists can tolerate for very long because what they want more than anything else is to be admired and esteemed. They are, after all, on a mission to save the world and it is paramount that others acknowledge the sanctity of his goal.
Rush is playing the role of the little boy in “The Emperor’s New Clothes” in pointing out that the liberal ideas are really naked of truth – and he’s right. That’s why they hate him so much.
If Rush Limbaugh had genuine influence, somebody else would be the Republican nominee.
All along, Rush stated that he wasn’t going to suggest how others should vote in the Republican primaries. He has made no secret of his dislike for McCain for years. By the time Rush did the closest thing to supporting a candiate, it was too late.
