I still maintain that anyone with common sense and a high school education could do better than the intellectual elites at running the government. I’m an old fart and I’ve seen a whole lot of educated idiots and a fair amount of self made/self taught smart men who know how to run their businesses and personal finances better than most ‘professional students’ with multiple degrees.
The two things they have in common are that they can smell BS a long way off and they’re particualr about whose advice they seek out.
Honestly, watching more than 4 minutes of our elected representatives at work is enough to make me feel embarrassed for them.
