Or…we have always had loud-mouthed blusterers among us.

Not that everyone in this discussion has been that way, but my God; we had a liberal win a Presidential election, face a financial meltdown toward which the Repubs had already thrown billions, and he threw billions more. Then, after most said it would never happen, he got a health bill passed. The moaning, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth is impressive. Truly, the end time days must be upon us…or we just don’t want to be bore on an Easter Sunday.

Human beings are addicted to drama, or maybe it is just that those who have lost, lost, and lost again in their vision of a strictly Constitutional United States of America want to say anything to avoid feeling powerless. What did the Constitution have to says about Hamilton’s national bank…and how long ago was that? And how many “violations”of the sublime document have happened since then?

Glenn Beck and Tea Partiers seem to be appealing/retreating to a Golden Age…that never was. Maybe the perfect time for them would be the time when we were fighting the Brits, but really had not yet formed a government of our own. Ever since then..the deluge.
