According to the notes in a biography of Darquier de Pellepoix, by his daughter, there
are NSA transcriptions that indicate that Georg Fischer; aka Alois Brunner, died in 1992.
It’s still possible that he is alive however,having spent most of the last fifty years training the Syrian Mukharabat, which had no small role in the training of Fatah,
Hamas, Hezbollah, and probably even the MB
affiliated AQ factions like Jund al Shams.
