During the campaign, Barack Obama and Joe Biden promised to create 5 million green jobs. (search BARACK OBAMA AND JOE BIDEN: NEW ENERGY FOR AMERICA)

Given what we have learned from the Spanish experience, we now know that this would cost $4,000,000,000,000 (4 trillion) and 11,000,000 (11 million) non-green jobs.

Given the state of the US budget and unemployment, it looks like this is one promise Obama may actually keep.
