The US does not go around the world picking on all the tin-pot dictators. In fact, the US has installed friendly tin-pot dictators around the world. So lets not go there. It is however the unfriendly tin-pot dictators that the US picks on. The packages of incentives are indicative of the US and EU foreign policy towards the Mullahs . Neither the Us nor the EU really care much about democracy and human rights in the Mullahs’ Iran, as long as they are contained with in Iran. I assure you any time the mullahs accept the demand of halting their nuclear activities, the US would be the first to have full diplomatic and economic relations with the mullahs – the same mullahs who chant “death to America” and “death to Israel” at the beginning and ending of all their congregations and the Islamic republic would be viewed as a democracy!! Why do you think the mullahs don’t accept the juicy carrots offered to them? I tell what I think. Their revolution is global. It is a total defeat for them to contain their ideology to Iran. Their ideals and long term Islamic goals will be dissolved in no time and puff goes their dreams of global Islamic rule. They see themselves as the liberators of all Muslims from the “decadence and liberal values of the Christian west”. Thats why they are standing in front of you; aiming their bombs at you; and wanting to destroy you and your values. So my friend take the blindfold off and see that a) Iranians have been fighting this regime for 30 years now; b) It is in fact your war!
Now about your stance that Iranians should “start the fire”. They already have. They started it almost immediately after the inception of the Islamic regime. But the US and EU did not come to their help and in fact supplied and supported the regime. Let’s accept the fact ( I don’t hold any grudge I should add)that the US policy is not a regime change, but rather a change of behavior. I am happy with the change of behavior too because it would shed less blood. But as I said change of behavior for the mullahs means an end to their dreams of global rule of Islam. They are not stupid and know that. The US and EU politicians who are in the position of making decisions on how to deal with the mullahs are simply cowards who are scared of dealing with the mullahs properly. I say they are coward because I don’t think for a second that they are so stupid that they don’t actually see what the mullahs of Iran stand for or that the mullahs will never accept their carrots. These politician’s indecisiveness will drag on for so long until it is too late. The longer the mullahs stay in power the stronger they get and harder to defeat. I see them as the winners of this battle to be honest with you because they are courageous and ready to die but you are coward and scared of blood shed! thats what it boils down to.
