Here’s the thing – $35 billion, according to the report above, is HALF Iran’s oil revenue for the year. $35 billion is chump change when compared to the size of the US’s economy ($13 trillion annually? might be off, going by memory here).

If you want to compare this apples to apples, it would be like $6.5 trillion dollars going *poof* here in the US. THAT would be noticable. Even 1.7% ($300 billion) being “misplaced” is inexcusable, if true – but its still a long ways off from HALF.
