Murtha is the shining example of what’s wrong with politics these days. He was corrupt, a hate-monger who paid service to his corrupt constituents who abused the power of his public office. He could spew intemperate, vile speech and be totally unapologetic. I only wish Sgt. Wetterich could have gotten his due in court. As the father of a Haditha Marine, we will not miss Murtha as he represents all that is wrong with mankind. We lost all respect for his Marine service through his political career that was filled with corruption and self-serving behavior; not a representative of the people, but a representative of his own greed.
