Thanks, Len Powder, for recommending “The Haj” by Leon Uris. Might I recommend the Penguin and the other paperback Koran, which in among the prose have such gems as “strike off the heads of the disbelievers” and “good women are obedient,” but if not, “set them into bed apart and beat them.” Also look for the sections on slaves, and sex relations with the slave women. It is the cause of the jihad against us — and the part about “hypocrites” means they can attack and kill fellow-Muslims! Oh, what a lovely war against everything!
