TSA Security a Mixture of the Serious and the Silly

Jazz, I think you miss your own point here. TSA is a reactive organization and needs to be abolished or completely given a do-over, but it isn’t their fault. The whole problem with airplane security is that we keep looking at the last attack and react by imposing more and more restrictions on people who have no interest in blowing up planes. The answer, and this needs to come from the top, is profile, profile, profile. Who is attempting to blow up planes? It is not my 80 year old white presbyterian mom, or Jazz Shaw. Muslims need to be singled out for extra inspection, watch lists need to be reinforced, and nobody should be allowed on a plane unless they are properly documented. I know it is not politically correct, but PC is going to get a lot more people killed. We are talking national survival, and we know who are our enemies. There is no way to stop every attack, but TSA and DHS are broken, hopelessly. Sadly, under the current administration and it’s incompetent leadership, more undies-bombers will be visiting us soon.
