GDT: I am sorry Moho you seemed to miss the point – perhaps intentionally. You just committed the most common trick in the liberal non-logical argumentative tool box. You completely change the subject, then take someone else’s comments – completely out of context and then place them in your argument (that has nothing at all to do with the original topic).
The original article in most part – and my comment in its entirety – is about airline bombing and hijacking. We are talking about screening techniques at airports. If you know of a successful or attempted aircraft hijacking or bombing (in or headed to the US) over the last 20 years perpetrated by a non-Muslim, I would like to hear about it.

I thought not.

I never cease to be amused by this odd protest that props up continuously at PJM. Its as if you people learned logic from watching TJ Hooker or something. No fair, the subject is MUSLIMS ARE NUMBER ONE TERRORIST, its not DRUG CARTELS ARE NUMBER ONE TERRORIST. The entire basis of the article above is incorrect, and demonstrably so. Acts of terror propagated by drug cartels are far and away the greatest source of terror in the US and abroad. Radical Islam doesn’t really hold a candle at all. The drug war, and its associated terrorism is destabilizing Mexico, our use of drugs is funding that terror, our weapons are arming the cartels. Its not changing the subject to point out FALLACIES! I’m still laughing about this.

Like most right wing websites, this one is about creating fantasies that are pleasantly removed from reality so that its adherents can ignore the complexity of the real problems that face us. In the last ten years, our economy has fallen apart and we’ve gotten mired in two wars and we’re opening up a third front. In that time there has been one successful act of terrorism on an airplane that could never have been duplicated. Its still impossible to get almost anything of use for a terrorist on a plane except the most difficult to assemble explosives, by suicide bombers who obviously lack the brain power to pull it off. Indeed, the fact that malls, theatres, forests, almost anywhere where Americans congregate have not had successful acts of terrorism perpetrated there–though its obviously probably the easiest thing in the world TO DO BECAUSE WE HAVE NO SECURITY MECHANISMS THERE–shows that terror in the US really does not exist on any copious level. The threat has been bulked up to get you idiots to check your brains at the door when it comes to making political decisions. And its obvious you weren’t using them anyway.

Last year, an Arizona gun dealer who has been implicated in knowingly selling weapons to the drug cartels of Mexico walked away from an attempt to shut down his terror arming business. Mexico linked those guns to over 6,000 deaths, but thanks to our absurd canonization of the second amendment it is completely legal to arm terrorists. And its not just other drug dealers obviously, that are being killed with our weapons and to supply our people with drugs that our ridiculous laws have made surrealistically valuable. This is bystanders and relatives–people who have no relation to the drug industry except the misfortune of being related by blood or walking down the street. And police and politicians, those MOST ACTIVE IN FIGHTING terrorism. This terror has spilt over to our side of the border now. One day the country is going to fall down around your ears, and when it does you’re going to be awfully surprised at what was going on while you were feeding your bigoted fantasies.
