It pains me to be the guy who has to ask, but Napolitano was clearly a political appointment, and none of this was done by accident. What group was her appointment a present to?
I gotta say, given her appearance, this was a political appointment made to appease the gay lobby in the Dem party.
The reason it pains me to make this observation is that last thing our country needs is more acrimony between gays and conservatives. I’m primarily a libertarian, and don’t care who marries who, because you’ll not find the word marriage in the constitution.
That said, this is a political appointment of a person clearly not fit for the job.
