Would you object to women, from their early teens to their death, being naked wearing a choke chain with leash, being lead around in public by a close male relative or an arranged husband?
Only if they were made to do so against their will. I like having the freedom to engage in consensual activities without government interference, and believe others should enjoy the same rights.
Is there is a point where cultural relativism becomes harmful?
I think the better question is if there is a point where government regulation of private religious garb intrudes on our cherished freedom. Clearly there is.
