Let me get this straight.

Anyone who beleives the war is necessary, but doesn’t want to take up the honorable profession of soldier, is a hypocrite?

Clearly, then, anyone who beleives Americans should have food but prefers not to become a farmer, health care but isn’t a doctor, homes but isn’t a builder, or water but isn’t a plumber is equally a hypocrite.

I have defended this country. Now I build it. There are many things worth doing, and a lot of callings that contribute (Theater Critic is not one of them). Someone, after all, has to PAY the salaries of all those guys out there on the line, and buy their equipment.

War is a conflict of nations, and those of us who do things that make our nation stronger, not only fighting it but feeding it, healing it, and building it, and heck, even teaching it, are contributing.
