Larry — sorry I misunderstood, and thought you were not a vet. My medical care (for a training accident that gave me a head wound) through the VA was supurb, and the support of the DAV and AL was a great help. Others, I know, have not been as lucky, in either wounds or care. Epilepsy is one of those “invisible handicaps”, and the small medical problems were easily dealt with. The discrimination … but that was neither the military nor the VA’s fault.
